Description: This is a lot of 7 Deep Purple records and spans from Mark I through Mark IV. All records are original pressings and not recent reissues; the individual grades for each record have been noted below. Happy to send more photos; please contact me with questions, thanks! Shades of Deep Purple: VG/VG Released in 1968 on Tetragrammaton Records in the US. Record is in VG condition and plays with light surface noise throughout. There are a few surface scratches but nothing deep, and for the most part, the music overpowers any surface noise. One label has sticker remnants on it, and both labels have spindle wear. Sleeve is in VG condition, with a 2” seam split along the top center seam. Front of the sleeve has the original “contains the single Hush” hype sticker affixed. The cover shows light ring wear; please see photos. Fireball: VG+/G+ This was released in 1970 on Warner Brothers in the US. Record is in VG+ condition, with a few paper scuffs and hairline scratches that do not affect playback. Sleeve is in G+ condition, with a large seam split along the top, as well as moderate ring wear and general wear along the seams. Comes with the original printed insert. Live In Japan: VG/VG This is a pressing from the Santa Maria plant and is auto-coupled. Records are in VG condition, with hairline scratches that cause light surface noise. This is most prominent on the run-ins as well as during quiet parts, but the noise doesn’t overpower the music. The sleeve is in VG condition, with moderate ring wear and softened corners. Comes with Warner loss leader inner sleeves, and one of them is completely split on the bottom. Burn: VG+/G+ Record is in VG+ condition and has a few light paper scuffs that do not affect playback. This has the original one sided lyric insert, which has some discoloration from age but is otherwise clean. Sleeve is in G+ condition, with moderate shelf wear and multiple creases, as well as wear to the seams. Come Taste The Band: VG+/VG This was released in 1975 on Warner Brothers in the US. Record is in VG+ condition, with light paper scuffs that do not affect playback. Comes with the original printed inner sleeve, which has some creasing. Sleeve is in VG condition, with a small saw mark and light ring wear. Perfect Strangers: G+/G+ Released in 1984 on Mercury Records in the US. Record is in G+ condition, with multiple scuffs and scratches that cause surface noise. The music still plays loud, but background noise can be heard. Sleeve is in G+ condition, with creasing, ring wear, and heavy seam wear. Original printed inner sleeve is included and is in VG+ condition. The original owner took the hype sticker and placed it on the inside of the sleeve. Nobody’s Perfect: G+/VG This is a double LP compilation of songs that the group played live during their Perfect Strangers tour. This was released in 1988 on Mercury Records in the US. Both records appear unplayed; however, Side 2 of Record 1 has a small chip in the run-in. This only affects the run-in groove and doesn’t reach the music, but it forces the grading down. Please check the photo for further detail. Both printed inner sleeves are VG+ and have some folds. Cover is in VG condition, with light ring wear present on the front and rear.
