Description: This is a Dover handbag from the 50s that has a metal frame and clasp, the clasp being in a “bow” formation. It is in wonderful condition for being close to 70 years old, with a few minor signs of age. It is clean, and there are no rips or cracks in the vinyl. There are a couple of loose stitches on the bottom seam on one side, and a bit I’ve discoloration on the metal frame, which I believe could be “buffed out” with a piece of fine steel wool, if that is even an issue with you. (See close-ups in photos).In addition, there is a very small white looking scrape near the loop part of the handle, measuring about 3/8 of an inch long. The interior of this handbag is very very clean and the zipper works beautifully. If I were to keep this item, I would use it like a Christmas accent, with a Christmas handkerchief laid across the open top of the purse.
