The original black marble with white veining is beautiful, no repairs.The creme paint with gold highlights the carvings Study pics to appreciate beauty and elegance of this piece. Probably about 20 years old. It was bought from a million dollar home decorated with high end items lots of Maitland Smith. We cannot find a makers mark on this piece. Sturdy and ships in 2 pieces.
