Description: This is an Clifford mans drivers wristwatch with hinged lugs that was made in the 1950s. It is very similar to the Hamilton Contour.It features a rolled gold plate case with steel back that is in excellent condition. 17 jewel movement keeps time to within a minute a day.It has not been serviced but I did oil the mainspring and some of the pivots.The watch sets and winds properly.Excellent original dial. The glass crystal has some short scratches.Excellent crown.27mm wide and 36mm long. Takes a 19mm band. The crown was very small and worn on this watch so I installed a new one but found out it is a little too wide and the one swinging lug won't swing all the way back .You may want to find a smaller crown but the watch is usable as it is.This is a good looking watch.It will be shipped in a box.
