The couple's official portrait is enclosed in a burgundy ribbon in the shape of a heart and reads: "HRH Prince Charles • Lady Diana Spencer ~ To Commemorate their Marriage" with "29th JULY 1981" below. Another symbolic graphic is on the back reading "ICH DIEN" which in German means "I Serve" and is the motto of the Prince of Wales. The brilliant 24 karat gold rim trim and handle accent was included only on the First Edition signifying royalty. Capacity: 300 mL (10 fl oz) Interesting fact: The three ostrich feathers graphic has been used by the Prince of Wales since the 14th Century and Edward the Black Prince. It represents the badge of the heir apparent to the British throne regardless of whether or not the Prince of Wales title is held. Condition: There is a faint shadow flaw in the glazing inside the rim extending down about one inch on one side. That said, there are NO chips, nicks, cracks, crazing, fleabites, scratches, scuffs, stains or any other cosmetic / structural issues. The 24 karat gold trim is intact w/o thinning and/or voids. All multi-color graphics remain exactly as created.
