Meylan 14K Solid Gold Split Seconds Chronograph ‘Rattrapante’ Pocket Watch. C.H. Meylan was one of the best Swiss Watch Brands from the late 19th Century until early 20th Century. C.H. Meylan watches are known for their superb execution and they made many complicated watches which puts them in the top category of Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin. This particular example is a very nice one from C.H. Meylan with a great nickle movement. Condition-wise the watch winds and runs and the split seconds chronograph works to split the top and bottom center chronograph hands. The center split seconds hands are not aligned currently and will require a simple adjustment from the watchmaker. We do not make guarantee on timekeeping accuracy or operation. It has not been serviced by the seller and it's under the sole discretion of the end-user in regards to service or maintenance. For any antique watch movement we always recommend for the owner to conduct full service with qualified watchmaker to ensure longevity of the mechanism. Cosmetically the dial is in excellent shape with no visible hairline crack or chip to the naked eye. The 14K solid gold watch case is in very good condition with a few little dings on the case band and the rest is very clean. No box or paperwork, guaranteed 100% original and authentic.
