Here we have a beautiful early model porcelain/ceramic individual TEA POT made by Paul CARDEW of England in the "London Map" pattern - displaying an A-Z London Atlas Map SW1 covering the entire tea pot and lid. The bottom is marked, "CARDEW'S ~ LONDON MAP." It measures approx. 4-1/2" high x7-3/4" long (from spout to handle) x 4-1/4" wide, can hold up to 20 ounces or 2-1/2 cups...to the brim. (Steam escape hole on the lid.) It is in very good maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no chips or cracks...appearing to have had little or no use, most likely only displayed for many years. [NOTE: Minor camera flash spots here and there, no missing decoration.] Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1992. This item weighs approx. 1 lb., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased. Payment and shipping...
