Caithness Glass Cycloid Paperweight 388/470 Ltd Ed Margot Thomson 1993 Signed

Description: The gorgeous cycloid paperweight is in great vintage condition with very minimal wear. Handcrafted in 1993, this was designed by Margo Thomson for Caithness glass in Scotland. This was originally supposed to be a limited run of 650 but for some reason was cut short at 470. This is number 388/470. It is acid etched with Caithness Cycloid Scotland and it's ltd ed numbers are hand etched. The original label on the base would have read, "Multicolored Ribbons Spin Around A Silvery Central bubble" I have taken pictures in both average room light and with a flash so you can see all the details. This is probably one of the most difficult base/signatures that I have tried to take. No matter what angle I attempted, it is very difficult to see the etching. It is there and as described.
