Description: RARE CIRCA 1925 RADIO TELEGRAPH KEY w/ TRANSMITTER and 4 PRONG RADIO TUBE / VARIABLE TUNER Stamp on amplifier transmitter: "PB 1/ P B" An early circa 1920's use of early radio technology to transmit TELEGRAPHY CODE BY WIRELESS RADIO TRANSMISSION. It is interesting to note that the telegraph key does not have a "CUT OFF" lever switch and never did. The telegraph key is unmarked as to maker. The tube is a 4 prong tube and is a marked "CBS AN" - but this device may in fact have used a earlier tube when first used and made. Wear is consistent with age and use.
