If You are sending whole MacBook (which I recommend) and any other parts are damaged - where will be additional charge, however in most cases I can tell what else is damaged and how much it will cost before I start working on the MacBook, so You can proceed accordingly. Please understand that not all MacBook logic boards can be fixed (I'll do my best to fix Yours). In this case I can offer You a replacement logic board sometimes for the same price or a little more depending on the model, I do keep several tested and working logic boards in stock for such cases. And if I can not fix Your board and I do not have a replacement readily available or You don't want to proceed with the repair - where will be no charge. As simple as that.
