This kit was designed to specifically address the issue of unnecessary rotating mass and weight within the factory accessory pulley system as well as the front of this engine. It, along with our Aluminum Water Pump Pulley (also available in our store), helps to eliminate a considerable amount of weight relative to the factory steel parts they're replacing. Our pulleys come black anodized to blend perfectly amongst all other factory pulleys. Perfect fit, finish, and reliability!! Extensive street testing on our own daily-driven E63-AMG proved that these parts work flawlessly under any condition without any sacrifice. We STRONGLY believe that you can't be serious about performance and / or efficiency if you don't recognize that weight (reduction) plays a major factor in both.
