Description: ANTIQUE SCHLENKER & KIENZLE VIENNA D.G.M.S. 9948 REGULATOR WALL CLOCK #353827, PORCELAIN FACE & LEVEL, ROMAN NUMBERALS, COIL CHIME, COMES WITH KEY, 35 INCHES LONG, 14 INCHES WIDE. Clock runs inconsistently and will need a cleaning & new oil to run property. The clocks pendulum will stop after a couple hours. The speed of the pendulum (fast – slow) may need to be adjusted upon delivery. This clock is from the late 1800’s - early 1900’s. See pictures for the SCHLENKER & KIENZLE trademark on the back of clocks mechanical movement. The back of the pendulum is incised "D.R.Gbr. M.Sch." (see pics) Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster (“D.R.G.M” patent used from 1891-1945). The pendulums lyre colors are aged brass & nickel (see pics). The leader hanger is marked TGMS (see pics). The clock chimes the number of hours on the hour & chimes once on the half hour. See all pictures for porcelain face & dial design, hands style, pendulum design & overall condition of clock.
