Description: The Pratt Food Company was founded in 1872 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its industry was human and livestock remedies, and its headquarters remained in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was around until at least 1950. I couldn’t find info on this particular bottle but some of the old ads were fun. This is an interesting little bottle standing 5 ½” tall and 2” wide in a rich amber color embossed “PRATT’S GERM-A-THOL SANITARY DISINFECTANT MFD. BY PRATT FOOD CO. PHILA., U. S. A.” It is shiny clean with some light haze inside and lots of good bubbles. The top is not quite straight. I would date it around 1905. It has no damage.
