Description: ~ This is an outstanding antique pastel portrait of a victorian young lady dressed in a black dress with a white lace collar, she has a gold necklace with pendant around her neck. It is framed in an oval metal frame which measures 20" x 14" with convex glass front. The portrait is extremely well done with great detail and it does not appear to be signed that I can see, there is some writing on the back of the portrait, see picture 5. Portrait is in very good condition, the metal frames decorative top has a piece missing, see picture 3. In all this is a fabulous portrait, the young lady in this portrait has amazing charm you just feel drawn to her, great piece for a collector.
