Description: Lovely antique, early 20thC century - Art Nouveau style, porcelain box, with brass/gilded metal ornate rims and a figural knob in a shape of a young woman. Featuring beautiful, Sevres-like, “Celeste Blue” colored porcelain and elaborate metal work. Unmarked but has word “Germany” on the underside. Measures about 5.5” to the tip of the lid knob, and approximately 5 3/8” across. Condition: Good overall condition, use related marks and scratches, patina and minor loss to gold finish, blemishes on the metal parts and the frame. The figure of a woman rotates and moves/wobbles. I don’t know whether this is by design or needs to be tightened. It seems secure and doesn’t affect the look of the piece. Other than that - There are typical use related marks and scratches, wear on the underside and the interior . Please study pictures closely for more details. I posted many pictures and close-ups to allow my customers to study the condition of this item.
