Antique New England Peachblow AGATA Art Glass Tumbler, c.1887 RARE FIND

Description: RARE - NEW ENGLAND GLASS COMPANY - AGATA TUMBLER Agata glass was introduced and patented in 1887 before the NEW ENGLAND GLASS COMPANY out of Cambridge, Massachusetts before the company closed in 1888. This special glass ware was made by Joseph Locke by applying a metallic stain to the already coveted PEACHBLOW glassware. This left the already lovely Opaque Rose to White color splattered w/artistic gold swirls, circles and "oil slick" design for a truly one of a kind, desirable piece. This tumbler is in excellent antique condition w/no chips, cracks, breaks or damage. The gold overlay pattern on this unique piece is more subtle w/hints of swirls gold scattered throughoutMeasures 4 3/4 in x 2 1/2 in Please review photographs as they serve as an important part of condition/description.Please be assured, I pack very carefully with plenty of padding as needed to ensure item(s) arrives in the same excellent condition.
