Description: Antique French Hammered Copper Fish Poacher Kettle Complete w Lid and Insert 23". Such an amazing work of art! Overall, in very good condition. There is some copper missing up near the rim (see photos). Interior is shiny with just a little bit of staining. A few black marks on copper, mostly on lid (could be spots that are missing copper finish?). Fish lifter insert included. No marking, but based on similar poachers, I believe it is French. Measures 23 inches across the length of the lid. Three copper rivets on each side handle, two on lid handle. Very heavy--weighs 11.5 pounds!
