The Victorian mahogany bedside tables each have three working drawers, decorated with flame mahogany fronts. The drawers are constructed with fine hand-dovetailed joints, mahogany drawer linings and the original pierced brass handles & escutcheons. The drawer bottoms retain the original green paper lined drawer bottoms. The drawers also retain their original working brass lever locks (with working key). The bedsides stand on their original top-quality rounded mahogany plinths. The Victorian bedside tables are constructed from top-quality mahogany timber. The quality is reflected in the weight of these bedsides; they are heavy to lift! The Victorian nightstands boast a rich brown mahogany colour. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and inside the drawers, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no cup marks to the tops of the bedsides. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. All drawers retain their original brass handles. The drawers also retain their original working brass lever locks (with working key). These Victorian bedsides are constructed of top-quality solid mahogany; which gives a superb colour and patination. The quality is reflected in the weight of these bedsides; they are heavy to lift!
