Description: Here is a beautiful early antique Bru Teteur doll from late 1870's early 1880's with intact nursing mechanism and key wind (not working due to age of rubber). She had a clean break in her head that has been restored - see photos. It is marked Bru with 6. Shoulderplate is perfect and is marked 5T. It was VERY common for Bru to use mismatched number heads with shoulderplates so she is original like that! She has lovely bisque and gorgeous dark blue Bru paperweight eyes. She has a replaced tibetan skin wig. Her body is kid with some mending, again see photos, and perfect bisque lower arms. She wears froufrou bonnet, antique undies and Christening dress plus cotton socks. This is a great doll to consider if you don't want to or can't spend the five figures to obtain a perfect Teteur.
