Description: From my personal "blue & white" plate collection . . . late 19th century Burgess & Leigh, Burslem "DAISY" pattern 7 3/4" diameter plate. No. 272768, the semi-porcelain plate features the blue Daisy design along with a lovely white embossed "swirl" along the interior border. As expected for the age, there is crazing throughout both the front & back. I can see no large chips or any cracks . . . possible production "bumps" on the back. I am not an expert but was impressed with the age & pattern when I purchased a few decades ago. The fine, gold outer rim trim is in very good condition with only some light fading. Made in England, the blue maker's mark is clearly visible along with the number 3 and a center stamp which I cannot decipher. Buy Now: $ 55.00
