The bronze case, of architectural form, houses the twin train mechanical movement with porcelain dial featuring a white chapter with black hand painted Arabic numerals with gold outer chapter indicating minute marks. Beneath the dial, a hand painted scene depicts a lady and gentleman sitting next to a lake. The clocks drum is flanked by two columns surmounted by Corinthian capitals. The whole raised on a chiselled base. The twin train eight day mechanical movement is strikes the hours and half on a bell. The mechanism is protected by a door. Approximate dimensions: 29.5 cm high x 23 cm wide Condition: Overall, the clock is in good condition. The ormolu is in good condition and retains a good colour.
