Description: This Chinese porcelain water pipe bowl is a stunning piece of antique origin with the Qianlong dynasty reign mark. The bowl features a beautiful design of 8 immortals and is made of high-quality porcelain with copper and silver trim. The white color of the bowl is complemented by multicolor details that add a touch of elegance to the overall look. This antique bowl is perfect for collectors of Asian antiques, especially those interested in Chinese history. Its age can be traced back to the late 19th century, or even farther. Which makes it a valuable addition to any antique collection. The bowl's maker is unknown, adding to the mystery and intrigue of this piece. Condition: the porcelain and its painted decor of the 8 immortals is in excellent condition. There are no scratches or chips. The metal trim is ornate. The top is decorated with birds. The rest of the metal was also ornately decorated. I believe the metal is copper, possibly with some silver overlay. I did not want to polish it, because I wanted to leave it original and any restoration up to the new owner. As you can see there is a piece missing on the middle top and possibly the small wire piece contained a tiny spoon. I cannot say for sure. I am not an expert on these. I received this from a lot that I purchased from a Goodwill auction. Measurements: Height: 5” from base to top of rim. Diameter: Approximately 3” Weight: (not including packing materials): approximately 12oz.
