Description: Antique Chinese Carved Soapstone Figurine This is a beautiful old greenish beige and rust color Chinese soapstone figurine. The color of the soapstone is hard to describe since it has streaks of rust color on this predominantly greenish beige figurine. The black base has a rather rough texture and thus appears to consist of a different type of stone, but I am not sure. The height is 8.75 inches and the width of the base is 3.5 inches.
