Necklaces like this were popular at the beginning of the last century. They were worn in combination with necklaces of coral, turquoise or pearls. The necklace is in very good vintage condition and has a hook closure. Amber is a wonderful, warm stone and is believed to have healing powers. We test all of our amber items for their authenticity.
