Description: Rare amber jar with a beautiful, devolved pink, purple, blue iridized sheen that has developed on the old amber jar. Its semi handmade, blown molded. Marked bottom W.T & Co. Pat. June 21st, 1882, and 1212 A. Appears to be two-piece handmade mold semi machine blown glass jar. Crude rim has a little roughness to the touch. Maker mark dates from 1882 to 1901. No chips or cracks. Odd lug screw top. The jar has a waviness glass texture. Cleaned well with soap and water only to protect the wonderful coloration it has developed over the years. Cream/ointment type jar, no lid. 2 inches tall ,1-5/8 across the rounded bottom edge, 1-9/16 inches across the rim. Choice of first class/ground or priority shipping. It does have a soft green glow under UV black light.
