Description: Antique Albany Foundry #94 "Rabbit with Top Hat" Cast iron Doorstop Desirable & hard to find Albany Foundry piece Very nice example of this scarce doorstop with very nice details & color. This particular doorstop was produced by both National Foundry, (#89) and Albany Foundry, (#94). This one is marked with the Albany number 94 and the copyright mark along with "Albany Fdy Co." on the base of the back. In very good to excellent all original condition with good color. Minimal chipping on the high spots. Measures 9 7/8 inches tall by 4 3/4" wide at the base. Weighs 3.0 lbs. A similar example is shown in "The Doorstop Book" by John & Nancy Smith - pg. 156. At cost shipping, fully insured.
