This HIGH QUALITY EXAMPLE OF A FANCY BENNINGTON meets the latter criteria of having a white base with blue and brown coloring. Has the CLASSIC "BENNINGTON EYES" and a NICE SHINY ("WET") GLAZE to it. On the average, Benningtone Marbles were made in the mid to late 1800's. Diameter is approximately .50". Similar Fancy Benningtons on oldraremarbles.com were priced retail as $50 each. I will price this a bit lower to be competitive with eBay type pricing. In VERY GOOD CONDITION with no cracks or mistakes as far as I can tell, but being "sold as is" because I am not a marble expert. This was bought in an online auction from an up and coming auctioneer on a nationally known and very reputable auction site. I know him personally and he is as honest as they come.
