Description: A nice 19th Century American school still life oil on canvas painting of oranges and grapes set on a table top. It is well rendered in a folk art style and ready for display! It has been cleaned, revarnished, restored with scattered in painting, and relined on Masonite board sometime in the past. Apparently unsigned? The painting is in good condition overall with some toning, craquelure, scattered very small areas of paint loss/hairline marks, etc. It is set in a 19th century giltwood frame with a lovely patina showing red ground and gilt. Frame is in good condition with typical wear and having a small but stable fracture near the painting towards the bottom left corner. There are old Victorian era newspaper remnants seen on back.
