Description: Antique 1930s Pale Pink Full Length Gown Dress White Silk Floral Overlay AS IS. Here we have an authentic 1930s full length gown. It is made from a white, raw silk fabric featuring embroidery and cut out flowers. There is an attached slip dress made from a pale pink acetate. A belt of the same material is included. The dress has cap sleeves made from the embroidered white material. There is a left side seam opening from the underarm to the hip with metal snaps for closure. The skirt of the outer layer is cut on the bias making it full. A pink pipping finishes the hem line, however it has been torn off in a few places. The arm holes and neckline are finished with the same pink pipping. This dress is in fair condition for its age. There are several stains on the dress, mostly under the arms, but also through the skirt. The pink slip dress has some minor tears. The outer silk fabric is delicate but not shattering.
