Description: Ant. Ambrotype Portrait of Young Gentleman W Classic Frame Box Early Photograph I have had a rather large collection of ambrotypes, tintypes, and daguerreotypes that I’ve been listing. This is a 1/6th plate antique tintype of a handsome young boy wearing an Edwardian styled outfit of knee length pants, white cotton coat with tied bow while holding his bowled hat. He face certainly captures is feeling of posing for his portrait. The brass frame has a classic scalloped look with detail working over the surface. The wooden case is original even though it is no longer completely hinged together. Velvet intact on the other side. This tintype was in 3 shoe boxes full of old pictures from PA.
