Here is what ANOVA says about this device: Now you can control lights and electrical appliances throughout your home or office, whether you're in or out. State-of-the-art electronics lets you control instantly, or program the ANOVA Control Center's memory for up to 16 on/off times for any day(s) of the week (or every day). Lights may also be programmed for automatic dimming. The ANOVA Control Center requires absolutely no special wiring to achieve total control. Unique Auto-Link circuitry uses your regular AC wiring for reliable two-way communications/control of lights and appliances. Just plug in the ANOVA console and remote switch modules. That's all there is to it. This is NEW in the box, with the Instructions. I have NEVER used this myself and do not know how it operates. You will receive EVERYTHING you see in the photos. As stated on the back of the box, this is all you need to get started. However, if there are more components you need to make this fully functional those will need to be purchased separately on your own dime. Unit is being sold AS IS.
