Description: One of my favorite menus I've ever come across, from the die-cut, gatefold cow design to the mid century script to the atomic orange coloring. Just fantastic! Fireside Steak Ranch seems to be largely forgotten to the dustbin of history, but I did find an article from 1960 about Burl Ives ("Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" etc) hosting a fundraiser at the restaurant: "Jimmy Fazio, wh was hosting the luncheon at his Fireside Steak Ranch, interjected with the news that Ives has just finished an .-ibum titled, "Burl Ives Sings George Gershwin." "It's a switch from the folk songs," smiled Burl, through puffs on a small cigar. "A lot of people have suggested it and United Artists and I finally did it on the UA label." What about the Bahamas? "I love them," enthused Burl."
