Description: Alvarez Yairi DY-77 vintage guitar Herringbone made in Japan 1974 by Kazou Yairi handcrafted with high grade rosewood and spruce with beautiful hard case & key This is a beautiful Alvarez Yairi DY-77 handcrafted in 1974 stamped with possible Brazilian Rosewood , or other rosewood handmade by master luthier Yairi, It Projects a beautiful loud rich balanced tone very well balanced with rich sounding chords when strummed and played , It has minor surface scratches on the front and back mostly in the finish from normal play-wear , small dings , minor small scuffs , one small chip on the side shown , excellent fret board , excellent frets , nice action , plays smooth , no structural damage , straight neck , flat firm bridge , original nut and saddle upgraded heavy duty Alvarez tuners . New set of strings , great low action , no buzzing , plays like a dream , most will agree this sounds even better than what it actually copied at the time (Martin D28 herringbone). The action is great and plays easy on upper and lower registers , its a professional players level guitar , no bellying on the top , comes with a very nice heavy grade hard case in excellent condition, all latches work with no damage and included original key . Guitar features : Solid spruce top, possibly Brazilian rosewood back and sides, or other rosewood, Alvarez tuners, Flamed Maple binding, Ebony fingerboard, Herringbone trim around the body and rosette, Mother of pearl snowflake position markers, faux tortoise shell pick guard, Ebony bridge,"C-shaped Mahogany neck.
