Description: ALPA REFLEX 9f SLR 35mm film camera, Switzerland 1965, serial number 46274 (stamped on back and inside back door), with body cap, spool and all-metal USANG cradle holder and tripod attachment, in box. From 1942, the year of the Alpa introduction into the market, eleven models have come from the factory. In 1952 three models were released, the 4, 5 and 7, which - together with the 6 and the 8 of 1957 and 1958 - comprised the whole Alpa line of cameras, up to the late 50's.In 1965 Alpa reduced their product line to only two models, the 9d and 9f.The 9d was similar to the 6c but it had a TTL CdS exposure meter. The 9f (this one) was introduced the same year, but it was only in production until 1967. It was identical to the 9d, just lacking the exposure meter.Serial numbers ran from 46201 to 46500. Only 157 examples were produced, of which 17 were in black finish, turning it into the rarest Alpa camera ever, extremely rare to find and very sought after. Specs: built-in prism finder for non reversed image focusing and viewing, on a 45° angle; lever rapid winder; single short stroke; neoprene focal plane shutter; shutter speeds 1s - 1/1000 + B; instantly returning mirror; removable back with a key lock at the bottom, and shutter release on front of body. The camera looks very nice with average signs of wearFinder is clear.Shutter speeds are spot on along the entire range.Curtains are whole and sound.Leatherette is intact. Thank you.
