The modern mode of wearing pajamas for every possible occasion is taken up by the French doll - lounging pajamas for their boudoir, hostess pajamas for afternoons at home, or gloriously gay pajamas for the beach. View A shows the princess pajama alone. View B the complete costume with short jacket in contrasting material. (If you need a pattern for the doll I have one listed.) Views A and B are a Lounging type of Pajama Suit. View A shows the Princess Pajama alone developed in scarlet satin trimmed with bands of black satin, while View B shows the complete pajama suit with black satin coat over the princess pajama. Black silk tassels decorate the ends of scarlet sash and neck tie bands. View C shows the Beach Pajama type of suit, developed in a flowered print and trimmed with bands of green sateen that matches one of the colors in the print. The ends of the sash and tie bands are finished with tassels made of matching green embroidery cotton. A straw hat would be nice worn with the beach pajama. PLEASE NOTE: There are no instructions with this pattern. I honestly don't think there ever were any instructions. My original pattern didn't have any so I've reached out to other sellers on both Etsy and eBay who have also had the original patterns for sale and all of them have told me the same thing, that there were no instructions with their original pattern either.
