Description: Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new replacement for the 2SA979 dual transistor. The 2SA979 frequently goes bad in vintage equipment, and can cause you to have high DC offset, crackling, and more problems. The original dual transistors have been discontinued for decades, and are difficult to find, but luckily some fine folks on Audiokarma designed a replacement for it. This listing is for 2 completely built 2SA979 replacements, so all you have to do is install them. These are nice and small and will fit easily. Each board is 12.4mm x 10.4mm and is 3mm thick. The wires are about 9mm long. Installation is fairly easy--you will need a soldering iron, solder, and some sort of desoldering device. If you want to save a little money, you can buy these boards with no wires attached, and attach your own, which is easy.
