1st UK Edition Shakespeare-Land by Norah Baldwin Martin! Beautiful England!!

Description: Here is a wonderful title that belongs to the “Our Beautiful Homeland” series of books published in Great Britain. This is Shakespeare-Land by Norah Baldwin Martin published by Blackie & Sons Limited. There is no date anywhere on these books. The book is vintage for sure. Each title in the series is illustrated by eight color reproductions by artists well-known in that area of Britain. These illustrations are by Leonard Squirrell. All eight illustrations are present and securely attached to the binding. The binding is square, tight, and the text is immaculate throughout. The green cloth illustrated boards are extremely clean but for some spotting on the rear panel. The brown lettering on the spine and the lettering and decor on the front board are in excellent condition. There is a slight splaying to the front board but nothing overwhelming. The spine ends show some light “bumping” and all four corners of this copy are beautiful in condition. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the lower front flap also as shown in the photos provided. There is some wear to this vintage jacket mostly at the spine ends and along the edges which I have included in the pics.
