1996-97 Be A Player Link 2 History REFRACTOR (set break) JONAS HOGLUND

Description: This auction is for a 1996-97 Pinnacle Be A Player Link 2 History refractor card of Jonas Hoglund. This version of the card was only available in a framed set that could be purchased via a mail-in offer found in random packs of BAP. According to the offer card (picture shown in auction, but offer card is not included in the sale), the 20 card set could be purchased for $399.99 USD or $588.50 CAD. Between the cost of the set and the fact that they came beautifully framed, very few individual cards from this set have been made available for sale over the last 25 years. These sets of “gold Holofoil-enhanced” versions were limited to only 500 copies. For most players this meant 500 unsigned copies of the card, though cards of Jim Campbell, Eric Lindros, Patrick Lalime, and John Vanbiesbrouck were made with 250 signed and 250 unsigned.
