1993 Edwards ESP Explorer E-EX-75M (MX/LTD EXP Metallica Hetfield Style)

But the ‘make an offer’ button is available in case we can make a deal. -- I have a 1990s Edwards E-EX-75M Explorer for sale, which is a rare guitar from ESP’s Japan-only lineup with a MX-250 style body and MX-220 lawsuit Banana headstock. The guitar was listed first in the 1993 catalog, however most of the guitars from this period do not have a serial on the outside so it is difficult to date the model (mostly likely between 1993 and 1996). These models are superior to the Grassroots GMX-48 and LTD EXP 200 as the Edwards has a Mahogany body, Gotoh Hardware and is always made in Japan, as opposed to the latter’s Alder body, ESP hardware and Korean build. They also always feature a double dot at the 12th fret rather than a ’LTD’ inlay like the latter EXP-200 models. The guitar is stock and is in great condition for a 30 year old instrument. There are scuffs towards one of the bottom edges as shown in the photograph, and a couple of scuffs as photographed, but overall the guitar looks great from the front without major damage. Please note the truss rod cover is missing. Due to the rarity of this model in particular, the discontinuation of traditional Gibson-style Explorers from ESP/Edwards in Japan and the gloss black MX style finish these guitars have been growing in value. The LTD EXP-200, even the inferior Alder bodied ones from the latter years, are being priced at $2K and above. The guitar is priced higher here vs. other channels due to Ebay fees, and additionally sales tax is applied by default on used guitar sales.
