Wendi Maher (left) rubs ink over the silkscreen as Jennifer Wetter lifts up the screen on an Earth Day silkscreen design they made on a recyclable tee shirt at Mandeville High School as Robert Mask and John Rohner (right) look on. Wetter was one of the students who made the Earth Day design for the silk-screen. Students were asked to bring in old tee shirts to be silk-screened for $1.00 for each screening. (two screenings were designed, one that read Earth Day and the other a design). Other Earth Day activities planned at Mandeville High School were tree plantings, recycling drive for cans and papers, poster contest, trash pick-up on campus and an assembly with guest speakers.
