Description: This was the first model produced by the Fender Custom Shop. Only 500 produced 1987-1988. Solid Ash body. See thru white finish (since turned darker) and gold hardware. Guitar has aged well over the past 36 years. Nitro finish shows nice finish checking. Looks to be all original right down to the original 3 way switch. Pickups sound perfect. Very Stratocaster. Very little fret wear. Nice low action. Currently set up with 10s. Guitar weighs 8.1 lbs. Original tweed case in excellent condition. Still has the blue plastic on the hardware. No odors.
