Description: 1983 Bobby Enriquez Jazz LP - Espana: The Prodigious Piano of Bobby Enriquez Bobby Enriqeez Espana: The Prodigious Piano of Bobby Enriquez (GNP Crescendo GNPS 2155). Roberto Delprado Yulo "Bobby" Enriquez was a jazz pianist from the Philippines called "the Wildman" due to his energetic playing style. According to Scott Yannows review in Allmusic.com, Bobby Enriquez is in splendid form for this collaboration with Japanese arranger Bingo Miki. Enriquez's piano is in the forefront throughout the six-song "Andalucia Suite" (written by Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona in 1928), plus four shorter numbers. The orchestral backing clearly inspired Enriquez, making this a recommended set. Cuts include: The Andalucia Suite- Andalucia, Cordoba, Quadalquivir, Alhambra, Gitanerias, and Malaguena); Jamaica Farewell; Nightingale; Angelitos Negros; and Old Bird. Record is in M- condition and cover is in strong VG+ condition (very light ringwear on front cover.)
