1973 Dodge Dart

Description: For sale, 1973 Dart swinger Hardtop. 1 prior owner family 1973-2022. garage kept original untouched car. never wrecked, never rusted, never painted or restored. 44K actual miles, now has 45 K miles. car ran hot end of 2021. garage diagnosed head gasket and radiator.. owner didnt want to spend 3K on repairs. i bought car. i had head rebuilt with 3 valves replaced, new recored heavy duty radiator, aux. trans cooler, alternator and belts, fuel pump, water pump, new Deka battery and hold down, carb. rebuilt, new blower motor, full tune-up, LOF with zinc oil, new underhood insulator with correct clips, new wiper linkage bushings, hi-beam dimmer switch, correct right side view mirror, repro. trunk mat. A/C wiring repaired, A/C blows cold and operates on R-12 freon. car then went into body shop. 2 small patch panels correctly installed on both lower rear quarters (have old patches). lower quarters painted to middle of wheel arches. sides clear coated to even out finish. car wet sanded, buffed, ebonied and polished. paint, and car overall, better than chrysler ever did when new. dart swinger decal installed neatly or rear of car. rims painted to match body color. installed police dog dish caps and new slightly larger radial tires. car is a high option car for a dart. A/C, P/S, automatic, deluxe two tone interior, full carpeting, remote L/S mirror, had full wheel caps with whitewalls when new, aux. light group, lower and wheel opening moldings, bumper guards, fender mounted signal indicators, AM. radio and full white vinyl top. car starts, runs, drives and appears nearly new. interior is near perfect, underhood is sanitary, trunk and trunk floor is also clean with no rust through, as is the underside of car, which appears to have been undercoated when new. 225 Slant six and 904 combo operate as designed. heater core was bypassed when car was initially diagnosed and unknown if it leaks, AM radio inop. alt. gauge inop (used dash cluster with gauge comes with car, as does some misc. new parts) white vinyl top still looks great for 51 years old, but has some discoloring and indents on top surface. lower section of top, below rear glass, shows some wear and discoloration, thats it as far as issues, im 66, ive been driving cars with issues for years, and if it needs attention, i get it fixed. this car is ready to go. selling car to get later model perf. car. not selling due to issues. find another one as nice as this thats mostly original, and hasnt been restored, and you should buy it. asking $14555.00 or best offer. sorry for the long post.
