With books of that age, there can be different states of conditions, the books will be in. Some things to keep in mind- Bowed Covers: A cover may go inward.Chipped Covers: Small Pieces in the corner missing.Dampstained: a Light stain on the cover or pages caused by moisture or a peice of food, at one time.Ex-Library: a Book previously owned by a library. With such stickers/stamps/markings may be present.Foxing: Brown spotting of the paper, commonly found in books from the 19th century. JMP tries our best to disclose each imperfection in our listings. We also try to include photographs of those imperfections.
