Description: This listing is for a Halloween WITCH RAILROAD LANTERN made in Japan in the 1950s. Rare and desirable, it measures 4.5 inches tall and made with a tin base and celluloid head globe. The lantern operates using 1 "C" battery located in the base and an ON/OFF switch in the rear. Minty condition overall with clean battery box and original plastic lanyard. It looks like it was not played and still works. Comes with the extremely rare original box. The thin cardboard shows storage wear mostly to the top, the flaps reinforced from the inside and remnants of a price tag. Still displays great. The owner kept the box in protective clear plastic for display and it will be shipped that way. A rare find especially since these are rather fragile.
