1950 Men's Elgin Manual Wind Watch - Restored and Running

Description: 1950 Men's Elgin Manual Wind Watch This is a nice men's Elgin manual wind watch, made in the U.S.A. in 1950 (the serial number stamped into the movement indicates the year of manufacture). The 15 jewel grade 554 movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is running well and keeping accurate time. The dial is in OK shape overall - there is patina throughout which has dulled the white dial into a more gray color, however, the indices are all intact - including the gold inlay baton indexes. The 10k R.G.P. (Rolled Gold Plated) case has been cleaned and polished, and shows only light surface scratches, and only a slight bit of wear to the gold on a couple of the lug tips. The acrylic crystal that came with the watch remains (I didn't have a replacement) and has been polished so it is clear. A brand new extra long brown leather strap has been installed. Overall, the watch is in very good condition and ready to wear! Please see pictures for more details, and feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase.
