Description: Vintage horse racing press photo of the great Triple Crown winner Whirlaway in a workout with exercise rider Pinkey Brown aboard. This is stamped August 2, 1942, and Whirlaway ran at Arlington on August 1 of that year, so I assume that's where this was taken. This measures about 7"x9". It has a few pin holes, some surface creasing and a small stain of some sort in the bushes in front of his head, but still in nice condition.
