1930's ASIAN * CHINESE~ CHARACTER COMPOSITION DOLL MAN SEATED IN CHAIR~AS FOUND

Description: Fresh Estate Find. Selling AS FOUND. Unusual and very old antique Asian Chinese composition man in sitting position with staff or some type of incense smoker highlighted in a dark gold. His feet are made of porcelain, and the chair is made of a tube metal that allows him to be seated. He looks to be holding some type of staff in his right hand. The hat is also made of a painted composition, just like his head. I believe that the body is made of a straw like material. He is marked China on the underside of his shoe. He measures approximately 6" seated in height. After doing some research, I believe he dates around the late 1920s or early 1930s. I am strictly SELLING AS FOUND, AS IS OR FOR PARTS ONLY. OVERALL CONDITION: HAS FRAILING TO THE OUTFIT AND CRACKS TO THE HAT AND SOME LIGHT CRAZING TO THE FACE. NOTICEABLE CHIP TO HIS RIGHT HAND. THE SHOES ARE FREE FROM ANY DAMAGE AS PICTURED.
