With beautiful flame walnut veneer and silver painted feet, trim and pulls, the epitome of modern design. Very well made, solid piece with beautiful veneer.The design by Robert W. Irwin Furniture Company of Grand Rapids Michigan. This suite won first prize in the National designer contest sponsored by the American Walnut Manufactures Association in 1933.There was a label inside the drawer of a companion chest that was sold, this piece does not have the label, I have included a photo of it. Retailed by Paine Furniture Company of Boston. Label on reverse. Measures: 44 H by 39 W by 18 D.
