This set contains two volumes, but is lacking the third supplement volume published by F. Lewis for the author in 1947. This copy is undated, dated using Copac. Each volume is copiously illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations, and a coloured frontispiece plate to each volume. CONDITION In the original green cloth binding, with gilt title to front board and spines. Externally excellent, with slight bumping to extremities and head and tail of spine, and slight rubbing to joints. The odd mark to boards. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean, with very light scattered spots only to first and last few pages.
